Leap Motion Controller

These settings affect how the Leap Motion Controller responds.

Hand Tracking Sensitivity

This changes how sensitive the Leap Motion Controller is.  A lower amount causes fingers in the 3D space to move a smaller distance.  Choose from 0.6 to 3.0.  The default setting is 1.0.

Track hands when AeroMIDI is in the background

If this is checked, the Leap Motion Controller will track your hands even if AeroMIDI is not focused. ( Note that there is also an override option in the Leap Motion Controller's Settings.)

Show Leap Motion Controller Model

Showing the Leap Motion Controller Model in the 3D Workspace area helps to orient you between physical reality and your 3D workspace.  Check this to see the model in the 3D workspace.

Edit Mode Tracking

Editing is mainly done with the mouse.  This allows the Leap Motion Controller to track your hands while in edit mode.  Sometimes this can be helpful for testing out your edits.

Max Fingers Per Hand

This allows you to set the maximum number of fingers per hand.  Sometimes it is nice to limit the number of fingers in order to prevent false fingers from appearing.  (Please note that if you have more than 5 fingers, we are not going to be making any special features for you.)

Max Hands Allowed

The Leap Motion Controller will do its best to identify your hands.  However, it sometimes gets confused and thinks other objects are hands.  By limiting the number of hands, you can reduce false hands and fingers from appearing.
